Overview: The Waldbühne in Berlin is one of the most appealing outdoor amphitheatres, with over 20.000 in attendance, the annual concert of the Berliner Philharmoniker in the Waldbühne is a highlight of every concert season. In 2007 Sir Simon Rattle conducted a superb selection of symphonic rhapsodies. Pianist Stephen Hough is widely regarded as one of the most important and distinctive pianists of his generation.
