Overview: The kidney patient Frederikke desperately wants to become a mother. That requires a new kidney. During Easter holiday she plans to ask her brother for the kidney he promised her as a child. But on arrival he brings his new girlfriend revealing their pregnancy, making it almost impossible for Frederikke to ask. Before the weekend is over old wounds boil up to the surface, revealing that the entire family has been hurting during Frederikkes lifelong illness.
