Overview: Set in a time of guerrilla revolution and told in flashback, two friends, Rustam and Guscik, are members of ABRI (the Indonesian Armed Forces), who are on battle duty even after Indonesia gains full independence in 1949. They successfully defeat a subversive group lead by Aman, on Burung Island.
