Overview: The film tells the story of Lidice village, levelled and–literally–eradicated by the Nazis in retaliation for the assassination of Reinhard Heydrich in Prague. However, despite the heavy death toll it paid, the Czech village was not only erased from the map but constitutes a symbol in the fight against Fascism.
