Overview: Jim Melcher, a swindler and a rogue, induces Rhoda, a society girl, to marry him. She later discovers his dishonest methods, but her sense of loyalty is so great that she stands by him. He is planning to pull off the biggest robbery of his career and insists that she assist him.
