Hearts and Flowers

Overview: As the result of a mistaken marriage, Mrs. Russell, broken in spirit and body, becomes ill and is ordered to the hospital by her physician. While her mother is ensconced in the hospital, her little daughter, Ruth, wanders aimlessly through the corridors and strikes up an acquaintance with Mr. Swift, a wealthy clubman, who is convalescing.
