Overview: The team visits Long Island for a scrimmage at Hofstra University and faces the Redskins in its third preseason game. Also: a key player gets hurt; a respected veteran is cut as the roster is pared to 75 players; the battle at left guard heats up; the offense continues to struggle.

Overview: Players get a last chance to impress the coaches in the preseason finale against the Eagles; some tough cuts are made as the roster is pared to 53 players; negotiations heat up with holdout Darrelle Revis; Mark Sanchez calls plays against the Eagles and directs a TD drive.
