Overview: The Barnetts, now divorced, abandon Natalia in an apartment in Lafayette, Indiana. With no food, a/c, electricity or phone, the police get involved. Despite Michael’s efforts to blame Kristine solely, his shocking confessions lead to their arrests.

Overview: As Michael’s trial approaches, he shifts fault to Kristine and catches a break when the judge throws out any discussion of Natalia’s age during the trial.
