Childhood of Jesus

Overview: Mary and Joseph take the infant Jesus to the temple. The scribes inform Herod of the prophecy of Micah.

Ministry of John the Baptist

Overview: Jesus comes to John to be baptized. John calls him 'the Lamb of God'. John continues to preach and to baptize until he is imprisoned by Herod.

First Disciples

Jesus Teaches Forgiveness

Jesus, Lord of the Sabbath

Overview: Three incidents empathize the truth that 'the Son of Man is Lord even of the Sabbath': the healing of the lame man at the pool of Bethesda, plucking grain while walking through the grain fields, and the healing of the man with a withered hand.

Jesus and the Lepers

Last Journey to Jerusalem

Betrayal in Gethsemane

Jesus Before the High Priest

Trial Before Pilate

Overview: Jesus is brought to Pilate for judgment. Pilate can find no fault and sends Jesus away. Jesus is returned to Pilate, who in turn washes his hands, and turns Jesus over to the mob to be crucified.

The Crucifixion

Overview: The events of the Resurrection include the placing of the Special Guard at the tomb, the rolling away of the stone, the discovery by the three women, Peter and John at the tomb, the two women, and Jesus' appearance to Mary.

The Lord's Ascension

Overview: Jesus joins the two on the road to Emmaus. Jesus appears to the disciples.

Jesus Heals the Man Born Blind

Overview: Upon seeing the blind man, the disciples ask Jesus, 'Who sinned, this man or his parents?' Jesus answers them by saying that neither did, and He formed clay, put it on the man's eyes. The man receives his sight.

The Upper Room

Overview: After the paschal meal in the upper room, Jesus washes the disciples' feet.
