Overview: Selim returns from abroad and heads to the village to complete the burial procedures for his father amidst Ferjani’s astonishment at Selim’s refusal to have the people of the village attend the burial. As for Aisha, her relationship with her father is stable, unlike with her mother.

Overview: Montasser accompanies his armed men to rescue his mother, Rashida, who was kidnapped by Hajj Taher. As for Narges, she's happy for her and wishes to escape as well. Selim discovers the file on the floor in the burning room.
