Overview: Kelly leaves her job when she can't handle her boss/lover's constant manipulation of her. During her apartment hunting, she finds a pair of flatmates, Evan and Alex, who agree to live with her. Also in the apartment building live Gabrielle, Alex's best friend, and Jason, Gabrielle's boyfriend. Jason professes his love for Alex and they end up having sex.

Overview: Miranda tries to reconcile her failure with Richie's success, and Kelly makes a clean start. Kelly's having a party in the flat. At the party, Jason and Gabrielle announce that they got married, Evan breaks up with Andrena, and Gabrielle finds out about Jason's affair with Alex.

The Unbelievable Truth

Overview: Facing the truth isnt always easy- is it better to live in denial or to seek a suitable distraction? Gabrielle and Jason live upstairs, but as Jason struggles under the weight of his profession as a lawyer will he marry Gabrielle for all the wrong reasons? Alex, a successful doctor, is plagued by insecurities as flatmate Evan continues to write his novel. Into their lives bounces the eternal optimist Kelly with plenty to share.

Overview: The unspoken rules of a relationship define an understanding between two people. But when those rules are compromised and push comes to shove the consequences can be ruinous. Sam saves Will from an embarrassing and unprecendented performance with a surprising confrontation.

Kelly explores multiple relationship questionaires and realises how people define themselves according to their romantic expectations. Jason and Gabrielle rock the foundations with their bitter breakup and Alex becomes very much caught up in the middle.

Overview: We are not the sum of our life experiences, but the beneficiary of others' shared experiences. When everyone bonds over life's many ups and downs they begin to understand each other more, breaking down some barriers to share a formative and enlightening time together.

Overview: In a state of limbo, one's instincts cease working - instead of moving forward, one remains stuck to the ground. Richie strugles with his encounter with Simon and eventually confides in Will. Jason and Gabrielle finalise their situation.

Overview: Love strikes joy into your heart and then strikes a fatal blow. Gabrielle's arguments with Jason hit an all time low. Alex has a soul searching perspective on love and decides to embrace the single, independent life. And Carmen and Evan's relationship falls on hard times.

Overview: After the bomb's been dropped you have to deal with the fallout. Will gets stoned and forces himself on an unsuspecting Sam. Eric invites Alex on an innocent weekend away but has ulterior motivies and Evan becomes delusional about his relationship with Carmen.

Overview: Once you release a secret you can never get it back. Alex explores the possiblilty of a flirtation with Miranda's friend Pandora, rousing the vouyer in Evan. Eric becomes the centre of an almost fatal emergency. Richie takes an interest in newcomer Brad and Jason takes charge of his destiny, moving to a place of his own.

Overview: Habits are are funny things... offering us distraction and comfort - but from what? Will offeres a lifeline to Sam in an attempt to ease her woes, but their relationshipis far from sunny. Gabrielle gets a lift from her affair with Mac but will the tide of romance turn? And Alex steps up and takes control of her romantic life once more.

Overview: Richie finally embraces the gay scene. Evan submits a revealing aarticle to a street newspaper and "outs" RIchie in the process. Will has a reality check, determined to live life to the full.

Overview: Suddenly everything is different. Alex breaks out with a huge announcement which usets an stuns Evan. Kelly and her new boyfriend take things slowly and Gabrielle decides to move on from her high- powered career.

Now or Never

Overview: How do we know when it's now or never? Richie feels uncomfortable when Brad wants him to experiment sexually with another gay couple. Miranda and Will are becoming very close, and she's slowly letting Richie back into her life. Meanwhile, Evan is accepted into the Writer's Colony in New York.
